It was broadcast on local NBC TV, area radio and local newspapers. The 3rd graders and guest musicians' performance was enthusiastically received by the community. Winter Holiday Performance 2007 Pocahontas Music's second performance was even more successful. The 3rd, 4th and 5th graders at Hillsboro Elementary staged a festive holiday performance featuring keyboards, hand bells, vocals and harp. Spring Performance 2008 The next performance by students of Pocahontas Music, entitled "Appalachian Spring" will be at the Pearl Buck Birthplace in Hillsboro, WV on May 29, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. The Hillsboro Elementary 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will sing, dance, play keyboards and hand bells.
